The Solution Rating System

ethernet CardBus Controller issue

When I plug in the card I get "Ricoh R/RL/RT/RC/5C475(II), R5C520 Compatible CardBus Controller has detected a CardBus card in its slot, but the firmware on this system is not configured to allow the CardBus controller to be run in CardBus mode.  The operating system wil"  and it cuts off there.  I have re-installed the driver and the CD-ROM cardbus works fine.  I just upgraded the system to windows xp home as per the sony instructions on the website.Start Free Trial
