After computer resumes; PCMCIA air cards stop working.  Other devices like PCMCIA WIFI cards still work.  Help?

Tags: Dell, Latitude, D430, Any Air card.  Verizon, Cingular
I have a bunch of sales reps in the field with various air cards (Cellular modems).  They carry around different ones, Sierra Wireless from Verizon & Cingular; Novatel from Verizon, Sprint Sierra Wireless cards.

After they do their demo or are moving from one place to the other they suspend their machine and when they bring it back up the PCMCIA slot stops working.  Weather they left the card connected or not, when they suspend doesn't matter.

I have gone through the gambit of trying diffrent cards and I found that with a Cisco, Linksys, D-link & AOpen WIFI cards you can suspend and come back and the PCMCIA slot works fine.

I called Dell support.  Boy were they no help.  And the Carriers werent much assistance either.

So I drop it in your lap.

Thanks!
