sfc /scannow

Good Morning Experts:
I have a problem that has seen a lot of mileage in this and other forums, but none of the suggested solutions I've tried have worked for me yet.
When running sfc /scannow I am quickly prompted to load my WProf CD, (OEM from Toshiba) but get the message: "The cd you have provided is the wrong cd."
I've tried different suggestions for the Registry and some others, yet I get the same again.  Toshiba Knowledge Base has no reference to the error.
My computer experience is Intermediate, (analogy: intermediate skier) neither newbie nor expert.
OS is XP Professional
Any Suggestions would be appreciated.

kane - if you had bothered to read my post - then you would realise all this has already been said...

Read the rules! Don't repeat information!

This is why we get problems on this site with Askers giving points out incorrectly!

If you had bothered to give details rather than just a link its helpful to
google much ?
Don't start with me I can post what I feel is helpful

kane - the point is, the information was duplicated. All the details were in the article.

And as for you saying "its helpful to google much ?" - for all I know that may have been just what you did - and copied and pasted into the comment box?

And - the article I provided reference to - I know it has been well documented here (on EE) - but together with the details, you get nice, helpful step-by-step instructions and screenshots.

This would be much more helpful to a user with less technical knowledge of XP...

If you have a problem - report me - but a mod will just agree with me...
