The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? I have IBM ThinlPad T42 laptop Win XP PRO.I connect to the Internet and able to watch TV programs on my laptop through Windows Media Player 11
I tried to connect my laptop to Plazma TV via s-video cable,it shows my desktop and icons and visualization if I'm playing audio CD,but if I start playing video file I have "snowing" screen in my Media Player,but all toolbars and icons around media Player are fineStart Free Trial
