The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Why cant 2 pcs connect to each other?

ok hers the brief.
1 laptop and 1 pc
laptop is fine on other networks and the network its on is my old one that works fine.
problem: pc cannot access laptop, laptop cannot access pc.
network is a router connected to the internet. internet works fine on both systems through the router. ip's assigned by dhcp. laptop is as fully unsecured as anything so i would have thought this pc could read it. i have used the laptop on 3 networks before and all have been fine.

i have got it down to the pc being the problem. can anyone help?Start Free Trial
