Fan not working.

I have a dell C600 notebook which had a heating problem. Recently changed a new fan. It worked fine for a while. I note now the fan does not come in and the CPU gets heated.
Now I am thinking to supply power to fan from another power soucre.
It would mean that the fan will be running all the time.
Any any idea or suggestion how I could achieve that..

The next option suggeested by Dell agent is to change the mother board but they dont have the spares. Start Free Trial
