Sony US model number? I'm not exactly sure, although the last letter after the / is always the color and the letter(s) just before it should represent the region they are from (In your case, probably Hong Kong / Singapore). There is a CS90JCR that can be customized simliarly. Perhaps this is the US version? Check it out:

4GB of RAM is fine for just about anything you'll consider, but the real limiting factor for "heavy graphics" (if you mean 3D gaming) will be the 9300GS nVidia graphics. Web sites, office work and most games that have a few years on them will work just fine.

It's pretty much always the case that slim notebooks don't have great graphics cards. If you want to play intensive, 3D games at decent performance levels, you're going to need at least a 9600M or better (And preferably a 9800M or higher).

Just a follow up on the CS series...

The link I provided can be customized to be similarly equipped, but the graphics card is an Intel GM4500 which is definitely a step down from even a nvidia 9300. There is no option to upgrade the graphics chip - it's integrated into the platform.

There may infact be no *exact* equivalent to the VGN-CS36GJ/R.

But, keep in mind that only 3D games will suffer. Since the Intel GM4500 supports HD/Bluray decoding (the only other major difference between graphics chipsets aside from 3D performance these days), your experience should be pleasantly similar.
