macbook vs. netbook

What are the advantages of the macbook over the netbook.

A MacBook Air weighs 3 lbs (without a CD Drive but with a 13+in Screen and the THIN profile, and can be witha solid state "hard drive" (like a giant 128Gb IPhone) $1499 with a regular 160 gb hard drive, $1799 with 128 gb solidstate drive

A typical Netbook is: less than 1 in thick, approx 8.5 to 10.5 in screen, no drives, 2.3 to 2.5 lbs $199-to-399

Is it really worth it to buy such an expensive apple over a cheaper laptop?
