Corrupted driver or wrong detecting
hi, in this laptop (IBM ThinkPad R32) the CD/DVD combo does not work; it happens since an external USB CD/RW drive was connected, now i can unistall the device, then this is detected but a yellow exclamation mark appears in the device manager left the device name.
I think this is a corrupted driver or the OS is detecting incorrectly the device then installing the wrong driver.
What can i do to "clean" the "cache" so, in a restart of the operating system, the correct driver can be installed?
The hardware is working fine because i can use it in DOS.
Thanks in advance.

trailblazzyr55: this drive is a Hitachi/LG GDR-8081N 8X DVD/24X CD ATAPI/IDE DVD-ROM Drive for notebook (GDR8081N); if you can send a link to its updated driver, it will help too much.
Thanks in advance.
