Software to test/benchmark laptop battery?

Somewhere out there I've seen some software that will test and benchmark a laptop battery. I want something that would put a specific load on the laptop and then log or track and benchmark a battery. I have several users that complain that their batteries no longer hold a charge and automatically want a new one.
I also want to try a few procedures to reclaim batteries and I want a way to determine if these are successful.
