Toshiba Laptop - Need Help

Hi experts,

my friend has a Toshiba Laptop with a windows millenium. few days ago, he dropped it - and since then, when he can not start the laptop


This is what is happening when he starts:

1) first screen with press del to setup...usual start up...
2) windows me log ... and distribute by Toshiba......

That is it - black screen...

Where do I start seeing the problem..
