DELL Inspiron 8000, BIOS Config password

Asked by raylab in General Laptop

Any ideas on how to disable the BIOS Config Setup password on a DEL Inspiron 8000?  A predecessor set it and I do not have access.  Need to dumb this system back to win ME or 98SE...  Tried disconnecting the 'Refresh' battery, flashing the BIOS, getting a Master password from DELL, etc.  No luck..Start Free Trial
