search your BIOS for AHCI Mode and set it to Legacy Mode or IDE Mode. Or if there is an option to Disable it, just disable it.
it could be also displayed as "SATA Native Support". you have to disable it.

Hi Pete,
I have gone through the page previously and found no useful. The page does not have a full list of useful drivers like Graphics, Sound, Ethernet, Network, Wireless etc..
Secondly my hard disk need either the SATA drivers or a BIOS option to disable the SATA (unfortunately the BIOS option does not have it) so that windows xp should recognize it.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00820092.pdf go through this. are you sure there is no option to Disable Native/Enhanced SATA/AHCI support in your BIOS? can you post a photo of your "System Configuration" menu on your BIOS?
disabling Native AHCI/SATA support is the simplest way for Windows XP to see your HDD.
of course if you have an FDD you can copy your AHCI/SATA drivers to it and Press F6 at Windows XP setup. or you can integrate/slipstream your AHCI/SATA drivers to a custom built Windows XP using nLite or other similar tools available.

Hi ZawngEK
Yes i have not found an option to disable the SATA on BIOS. I will send you a snap shot of my BIOS to you. If there is no option to disable the SATA, then probably i should recompile my WINDOWS XP cd with the SATA drivers.

Hi,
Got some problem on the following drivers provided by ZawngEK:
While installing the intel chipset driver after installing the windows XP operating system, i am getting an error "Your computer does not meet the minimum set up requirements, Set up will now exit". So i cannot install it.
Also Ethernet driver link appears to be broken. Also can you please send me the link for the bluetooth link?
Thanks for all the help as of now. Can you please help me to progress on this?

The first link I provide was not the chipset driver. That is an Intel Graphics Driver. Sorry for the oversight. The correct Intel Chipset Driver is this:

The ethernet driver link is working. I've tested it just now.
