best laptop bios password reset for dell laptop

hi guye i have a few clients who brougth me some laptop dell that had bios password set i try to remove the password but ican't  can you guys help me

ps i try call dell but they can't help becuase the lpatop is out warranty the client name who brougth me the laptop is not the original owner

on most modern laptops, you cannot reset the password; it is kept in a security chip.
i've seen some ways to get around, but there is no "general" password

Also, what model is the laptop?

Are you comfortable with opening up the laptop?

You should be able to reset the password by short-circuiting the BIOS PWD pins

that would not work, since its not kept in the bios...
