downgrading from vista to xp - drivers
hello all
i have dell inspiron 1525 laptop which has a default vista on it, i have formatted the disk and have installed xp on it.
so have i have installed, few drivers from this location

my question for you:
should i need to install every driver listed on the above url or only few like, vga, audio, network ?
its saying new hardware found but i dont know what device is that and what drivers should i download and intall.
please can someone advise me here?

Sorry, I do not understand your comment.
If you look on the list you have linked to, under windows XP, you see a link to the Intel chipset driver. I believe you'd want to download and install it.

On the right hand bar of everest scroll down to the devices entry, expand it and click on windows devices...
in the main view pane will now be what looks like device manager...
any of the yellow exclamation marks can be clicked and will open in the lower pane and it will give you hardware id info.

i have got another 2 issues with the drivers, if you please see screenshots above
its one.jpg and two.jpg which still has to be fixed...

That should take care of one of them... the other two are tied together and appear to need realtek audio drivers, possibly for the voice modem - dell isnt listing them.
try running the dell diagnostic tool found here -
