I agree with Nobus. Most likely they are broken and need replacing.

As far as I know these hinges are really not repairable once broken...especially if they are cracked or have rips or tears anywhere on them. you can't glue them or epoxy them or weld them. Because they need to be free floating so that they can turn to open the screen and close it. So probably purchasing replacements is the way to go.
