Browse All Topics I'm upgrading the ram on a zd8000 (zd8333cl to be precise) to 4gb's from 512mb's. I put in the two 4gb sticks of ram and booted it up into the bios. For some reason the bios only see's 2.5gb's of ram. So both sticks are working but why am i losing 1.5gb's of ram? The system should see Minimum 3.5GB. Running XP pro sp3. All drivers and updates are current. I also tried one 1GB chips and one 2GB chip and the BIOS would still see only 2.5GB.
BIOS version is current, ATI video is fixed at 128MB (no option to change) - Memory has been tested and works OK.
