Here's one online for the L355D, not sure if it's similar or not.
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI have a newer Toshiba Satellite, L500 series and need to replace the motherboard but can't find any information on removing the motherboard. Can anyone give me the steps to remove this board? I usually work on Hp's or Dells and this one is totally different. I couldn't find any instructions online for this model. There's gotta be some out there somewhere.
I just don't want to damage the board I'm swapping.
Anyhow, please help!!!

Thanks! This was not the correct model but the information was good as far as the steps of the process. I was needing the key feature: the keyboard bezel removal. I knew it had to come off but needed to know for sure before attempting to remove it becuase I've never worked on a Toshiba like this before. Anyhow, the steps on this link were great! they may not be exact but they were good enough to get the to the board for removal! Thanks!!!
By the way, that first link you gave me for the manuals was not for my model or even close. I had already been there and been fooled by them because when I typed in the model number they returned a lot of manuals for 5000....which isn't even close to mine. I had actually spent the money and purchased it thinking it would work but it was only 7.49 for 2 manuals so I wasn't too upset. Thanks again.
