Master password for ACER Travelmate 5730 for the BIOS

We have a laptop: Acer TravelMate 5730 with the BIOS password enabled.

When you boot up, you get the password prompt before it can start loading. Through some research, I was informed that there's a master password for the Acer Travelmate  (its a long numberic value).  Does anyone know what it is?
The only other alternative is to ship it back to Acer and have them reset the BIOS at a charge.

Hi,
The problem is that I cannot get into the computer at all.  I believe the downloads you sent are to reset the password within windows---I can't even get into the BIOS or Boot up into windows.

Sending it back to Acer is the route to take.

The Travelmates have excellent secuity using TPM hardware (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trusted_Platform_Module)
to encrypt the CMOS password in non-volatile RAM.  There is a very long numeric password but it is based on your laptop's own ID and an algorithm that Acer have.
Manufacturer's of corporate laptops are increasingly taking security of their systems more seriously now - if you lose your BIOS password you lose your laptop.
Gone are the days of BIOS crackers and taking out the CMOS battery for a while to reset things.

Expect Acer to ask for proof of ownership as well as some $$ to reset this.
