I was looking at that also...I looked up Acers and it appears that Phoenix indeed was the bios creators...
Are you the first owner of the laptop?
because someone could have overwritten the bios, i.e. flashed the bios..
Found the service guide:

its hard to find info for Acer brands...wow...
if you have any other bios besides phoenix, then that means you have either
more than likely: mem problem
next: timing problem
last: video problem...
problem is if you've reseated the memory/tried other memory and it still doesn't work, then
its the motherboard, i.e. the seat itself...
if its a video problems, again, that's a motherboard problem since laptops have video cards directly seated on motherboard...however, there are USB video cards now for about 150...or if you have a docking station, you can get another video card...
Unfortunately I think you may have to spend a few bucks at bestbuy for a diagnostic...
Please note that I was the first person to say that it is a graphics card / motherboard problem.
Beeps on startup signal a hardware faliure.
If you link up an external monitor to your laptop, then you can see if it is a screen problem or an internal problem.
If you still dont get a display, it is def a graphics / motherboard problem.
If you do get a picture, it is probably a loose connection and will require you to reseat the cables (get your manufacture to fix this for you).
Unless you know what you are doing, I would not advise mucking about with the screen as it can be dangourus.
