I need a 17&quot; screen and that's about it. &nbsp;I'm gonna use MS Office and watch some videos. &nbsp;No gaming and high level math. <br />

I'm leaning towards HP only because I have had good experiences with them in the past but Toshiba seems to be the laptop brand that will not die. &nbsp;I thought they'd be out of business by now but someone keeps them in business. &nbsp;ARE THEY THAT GOOD? &nbsp;How about at my &quot;low&quot; price point?<br />

Also, how much would a memory upgrade to 8GIG cost?
