I've been chatting with my girlfriend using ICQ, but now
we want to really talk, I mean, talk and listen to each
other. Is this possible with this software?, if not,
which one can do the job?. Do we need any special
hardware?, we both have mic. and full duplex sound cards.
If there's a better communications software, please advise.
TIA for any help.

You should use another program such as VocalTec's IPhone.
The hardware is satisfying and using this program should be enough.
ICQ is great it just doesn't have this capability.
Hope it helps 8-)
