Rip Van Winkle Laptop!

My laptop has gone to sleep and won't wake up!

It's a Graphite model (built to my own specs when I bought it) and it worked fine the last time I used it.

I shut it down correctly and the next time I turned it on, the power/charging light lit up along with one with a little picture of the moon next to it - but no noise at all!

No fan whirring, no HDD spinning up or bleeps - completely silent.

I guessed it had got itself stuck in some sort of sleep mode, but I've tried every FN and key combination with no success.

I've also searched under every removable panel and the keyboard for a reset button and there isn't one.

I'm hoping that there isn't anything wrong with it - if I can wake it up. It's a K6-2 300MHz and only about 18 months old so shouldn't be ready for the scrap heap just yet!

Can anyone out there suggest anything I could try?

As it's worth about a grand when it's working and nothing at all at the moment, I'm offering a decent number
of points to the suggestion that wakes it up for me!
