Presently: IDE1 master, HD: CDROM, slave.
IDE2 master, ZIP CD burner: ZIP100, slave.
SCSI IDE1 master, LS-120. I have tried many different combinations but get the same results.

Browse All Topicswhen I plug in my LS-120, my Zip100 does not read the disk. I get a "drive not ready" error, like there is no disk in the drive. I unplug the LS-120 and the Zip works just fine. What's the problem
PS. on the system I have an HD, CDROM, CD burner, Zip, LS-120 and 1.44 Floppy,; I have a SCSI IDE 66 card installed for the extra device.

I may have jumped the rails here, but it seems to me you've got three active IDE channels. Nothing wrong with that, but the probability for a resources conflict should not be ignored. Can you adjust any settings on this controller card? If so, make sure settings don't clash with the two on-board IDE controllers.

A few things are not made clear, like: How are devices connected - which are scsi, which are IDE; are you using a parallell port ZIP etc. On the first glance this looks like address or IRQ conflict, but difficult to pinpoint without more info on your system.
