How do I document a hacker on my computer?

Someone is hacking my computer. I know where they are, in the apartment downstairs. Easy access to telephone lines, etc.

Can someone come up with some relatively easy tasks that I can do on my computer that would reveal the hacking?

I imagine that the hacker would do his best to avoid falling into any traps, but it is worth my time to try to get some ideas from you.

If you need more information I will try to provide it. This hacking is personal and focused on me. This is not a random hacking.

I have and can record the video ouput of my work and home computers on VCR, and can overlay an audio track as things happen on the screen.

I do not know how my computer is being hacked. I do know that my telephones are tapped so internet hacking would appear to be fairly easy.

Is there anything I can look for or check for to determine how the hacking is being done?
