Easiest thing to do is try a different power supply. &nbsp;I've had supplies where they would spin the fans but not power the mainboard.

when I switched the power on, nothing happens. I am not sure whether my power supply or CPU or motherboard is dead. I want to check my ATX power supply using multimeter without plugging on to the motherboard. Is it possible? If it is possible, how?<br />
