Troubleshooting ATX PowerSupply
when I switched the power on, nothing happens. I am not sure whether my power supply or CPU or motherboard is dead. I want to check my ATX power supply using multimeter without plugging on to the motherboard. Is it possible? If it is possible, how?
Cheers!

dont pull eveything out. you need to keep jumper wire of power button to be connected to mobo.
Easiest thing to do is try a different power supply. I've had supplies where they would spin the fans but not power the mainboard.
