The Solution Rating System

Cpu Heatsink install

Since the manual that my celeron came with had some pretty bad instructions, I did what I could.

Everything is working fine, but I want to clarify that I installed it correctly.

First I hooked the four latches of my heat sink to the mobo. Then I moved each of the arms to the opposite side to make the heat sink a lot tighter and secure on the cpu.

I want to know if I did it the right way. Is tighter better? Because I have it on the tight way and it is really secure.

I’m just worried that to tight my crush the cpu or something.
