Is it possible to use PC133 instead of PC100?

I am trying to help my daughter by phone, so I don't have ready access to her computer. She could not find the manufacturer of the motherboard. She wants to increase her memory to 512Meg. The computer was purchased from Home Sopping Club. It has as 600MHz AMD CPU with 32Meg of SDRAM 100. In checking prices on Price Watch, I found that PC133 memory is cheaper. Is it possible to use this in place of the PC100. I would also like to know if it is possible to use the 512Meg memory stacks. I could then install 1Gig instead of the 512Meg.
