Freeze Up then, Safe Mode, Driver Issue

Hello,

I'm running Windows XP Pro on a peer to peer. The PC has recently frozen with about 4 programs running, one beep, then to Safe Mode stating "Save your work and Shut Down". The error states a device driver caused it. (I'll write it down exactly next time) After restarting all I get the Windows Error Message stating that we have recovered from a serious error.

Event viewer does not pin it down. Is there a way for me to trouble shoot this here or is taking into a shop the way to go. I am not all that confiedent opeing things up only becasue my life is on this particular PC and while I back up, oh the hassle of recovinering from a FATAL error that I create.
