Browse All TopicsI just added a new hard drive to my system. To add the hard drive i had to use a Y power cable because i ran out of power cables.system is now as follows:
P III 866MHz
384 MB SDRAM 133 MHz
integrated video (disabled)
1 - 60 GB 7200 Rpm Hard drive
1 - 40 GB ???? Rpm Hard drive
radeon 7200 32 mb ddr ram
1 - wireless network card
1 - ethernet card
1 - 40x cdrom
1 - 48x CDRW
I have added everything but:
P III
64 MB
40x cdrom
Had 1 hard drive (20 GB)
I now get a funny video flicker every so often. It is random ( no fixed time interval). Is this a lack of power? should i get a better power supply? i have a HP Brio BA410 ( now sure about model number). Not sure how many watts my power supply puts out. How many watts do you guys recommend, 300, 400??? Thanks for all the help.
