any time I try to use webcam with MSN Messenger, i get this messege:Messenger can not detect camera,
my camera work just find with yahoo messenger, Netmeeting , and Videoexpress, but not with MSN messenger.
I am using MSN messenger 6.0, IE 6.0, win98SE., the camera worked before with msn messenger, but now, i dont know what is the problem, I did a clean instalation of win98se. a wek ago.
any ideas, what could be the problem...

the problem is with MSN MESEENGER, and NOT with yahoo messenger

i know just thought that a previous installation of yahoo might have screwed with your registry.

okay.. in device manager when you plug the web camera (assuming it's usb) what does the driver name display as?  What is the manufacturer of your camera and have you tried reinstalling the latest drivers from their website?  do you have other usb devices running (e.g. usb mouse + keyboard, scanner, printer, etc)..

On device Manager, is under Imaging Device, the webcam is EZONICS EZ CAM II, and the driver is good,

Have you got a copy of EZVideo Chat 2.0 handy?  Does it work with this program? (it should)
If it still doesn't work with another program.. try running it on another computer.
That way we can try to eliminate hardware malfunction.
