Browse All TopicsI have a sales rep using a Toshiba Satellite Pro who passes frequently through the Austin, Texas airport. On each of his last 4 trips through airport security there (putting the laptop through the xray machine), he has been unable to power up the laptop once on the plane. We have to send the laptop back to Toshiba where a system board component is replaced (they won't tell me which component but indicated it is related to the power supply). Then he's fine until he goes back through Austin, TX again.
His laptop is currently out for repair, and he just called to tell me that the loaner I sent him (another, newer, Satellite Pro) has done the same thing.
Anybody have a similar experience, or can suggest a way to prevent this?
