The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution.   • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. random computer restarts

i dont know if this is the right section to post this but i'll try.

i feel this question is very important as i am finding it difficult to do my college work and other things but i only have 125 points... please answer as soon as possible

my pc keeps restarting by itself sometimes it restarts just after windows starts up. i belive it maybe a problem with my motherboard. i have an MSI KT4V with an AMD Athlon xp 2100+ and a 5000 rpm cpu fan and 2 system fans. i was told that it was restarting dute to heat problems. my cpu runs at 50c. i have read reviews of the motherboard and i came accross one that said they were having the same problem and it was due to the motherboard being unstable. does that mean i have to get a new one? when the computer shuts down it brings up a blue screen of death but it goes off before i have the chance to read it. can someone please tell me what i should do or do i need to get a new motherboard.
