Radeon 9800 XT vs Radeon 9800 pro... please help

Hello!,

I am in need of a new video card and now it's down to 2 choices... the 9800 XT and the 9800 Pro... of coarse I know the XT is better... but is it really $200 better? Does anyone here have the 9800 Pro? if so... are you liking it? I really want the XT because of the 256 megs of DDR but man... $500 is a bit much for a card!! Is it worth just to pay the $300 for the pro?
