The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. AMD 2400 processor has changed speeds

I have win2k pro in a 6 mo. old computer that I bought and assembled from PC Club. The 2.4 gig AMD processor started out at only 1.7 gig. I know that getting a slower speed out of an AMD processor is common because the number on their equipment isn't what you get. I have a 1700 AMD processor that puts out 1500 and a 1500 that puts out 1400. One of the techs at PC club was able to get the speed of these 2400's up to 2000 actually on two machines that I built. My problem is that one of them has slowed back down to 1500. I don't know what the tech did to get it up. Can someone explain and maybe help me get this computer back up to 2000 megs.
