Question
ASUS and ANTEC audio cable
Dear All,
I am assembling a new PC with the ASUS P4C800 Deluxe motherboard in an ANTEC P160 case.
The motherboard has an internal connector labeled "Front panel audio connector (10-1 pin FP_AUDIO)".
The pin out is:
1 : MIC2
2 : AGND
3 : MICPWR
4 : +5VA
5 : Line out_R
6 : BLINE_OUT_R
7 : NC
8 :
9 : Line out_L
10 : BLINE_OUT_L
The case has a corresponding cable with pins labeled:
MIC-BIAS
AUD GND
MIC
FPOUT-L
RET-L
FPOUT-R
RET-R
My question is how am I going to connect the cable pins to the motherboard's connector since I do not exactly know what each pin does.
If you can also provide a URL with your answer that would be nice.
