It's not on the top of the hard drive. I set up the hard drive as a master drive and the PC didn't recognize it. Well, the PC is dead, so the hard drive will have to go back to being a slave until I get a new motherboard. But thanks for the master configuration. Maxtor's sites all show that the jumper position for the master setup is generally how you put it. Thank you all.
