Please explain UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) run time calculations

Hi Everyone,

I need to buy a new UPS for a new server rack.  

Each UPS unit seems to have a KVA (KiloVolt-Amp?) & W (wattage?) number associated with it.  

Question is, how do I calculate my current load (given, say I have 13 computers, with x hard drives, each, etc, etc.) and then turn that load into a run-time estimate for a particular UPS with a given KVA & W rating?
