Question

memory type: urgent

Asked by: esmogen

Some have a link to a place where you enter the number on the memory chips and it tells you what it is. I need that link within the half hour or so.

I don't know that, but I know about a software that tells what memory you have installed. If that's what you need, here is the url:

http://www.lavalys.com/products/overview.php?pid=1&lang=en&pageid=1

In the worst case, if you don't find any web, you could put the memory chip in a PC and run this software.

I think there is no such website or software which will allow you to just input the number printed on memory and get the details.

As there is no hard rule which is used by the manufacturer to number it.
