Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Best LCD

I am wondering what LCD will work with my Sony V505DX. I want it to be an LCD and be a name brand with a good warranty. It must be able to support the native resolution of my Sony V505DX (1024X768) without an distortion and using the whole screen. In other words I want a monitor that is not widescreen so that I can display what I want right out of the box and ont have to have any black parts on the side and also no distortion (I want circles to look like circles not be stretched). It needs to also hook up to my Vaio (I dont know the hookup but I am sure you can find the specs for the laptop online). This also must be able to not blend colors and have very good colors. I will be doing some graphics editing, light gaming (like Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory) and a lot of word processing and web browsing. I would also like links to a few reviews of waht you recommend so I can see the cons and stuff. I looked into Dell LCD's but it seems they are natively 1280x1024 which, from what I understand would mean that it would stretch out my 1024x768 output or have blank spaces on a monitor (like a widescreen TV does when you change the option to 4:3 aspect ratio). Please help me figure this out as I really need a monitor. I am willing to spend approximately $600 but would prefer something cheaper. Also if anyone knows anything about the Alienware offering (I am considering it since it has usb ports and could act like a docking station but I don't know much about it)
