I am currently awaiting a new motherboard and power supply. At the moment, I am interested in any simple tips for removing the processor in a Socket A from the bad motherboard and installing it into the new motherboard. I have seen a dental instrument used in the removal of a chip from such a configuration in order to avoid bending any pins.
Any tips for making this easier for me will be appreciated. I look forward to reading everyone's suggestions.
Thank you
George
