The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. MAJOR MAJOR PROBLEM!!!

Hello - I have a MaJOR problem. I am the IT Manager for a multi-million dollar healthcare operation and our main application server decided to take a crap. I had to restart it and when I did, it never came back online. It just doesn't power on. Back before I came onto the staff here one of the employees purchased this gateway server off of ebay and the company decided to use it as their application server. I have been telling them for the last 6mo that we need a new server but they didn't listen. I have tried replacing the power supply and it didn't fix the problem. I push the power button and nothing happens. I can't just simply take the drives out and put them on another server because they are in a raid array. Any suggestions? I need to fix this server or at least get the data off of it. The problem is , its an older gateway so i cant just take it somewhere to get fixed because all of the parts are OEM gateway.
