Get existing MP3 music files into Itunes

Does anyone know how to get existing MP3 music files into iTunes so they can be uploaded into the ipod?

Open Itunes , click file, click add file to labrary. A window will come up and just browse  the files you have your mp3 and click open.

not only do you have to add them to your library, you have to remember to right click on the "ipod" icon in the menu on the left side, and click "update now" Do this if it isnt set to update automatically.

To Remove music simply uncheck the small check box on the far left side in the library, each song listed will have its own check box. Always remember to update. If you want to add new playlists, be sure to have them added to your list of items to update.

The itunes manual within itunes is very helpfull for this overly intuitive program.

normally i just move the files into a new folder and then import them into itunes. then, i select the new files and click and drag to the ipod to finish.

you can also drag and drop the files into your ipod and playlists
