Hi there!
My first post here! :)
I'm a keyboard junkie...! I'll always buy the latest and greatest one, and I'll often return some of them.
I returned the 4000.
There were two reasons:
1 - The zoom slider proved to be useless. The functionality did not do what I wanted. You see, when you use your Control-Mousewheel to zoom in on a window pane... it works like a charm... I use it 20 times an hour.
However, when you use the zoom slider on a window (ie. when opening a mail message), since the reading pane isn't in focus, it doesn't get bigger or smaller.
It was quite annoying, and it was also a little slow. I simply couldn't beat control-mouse wheel.
2 - this is going to seem like a personal preference.. which it is... but allow me to say that the keys were just 'not' in the right place! I have been using a microsoft ergonomic keyboard for years. Latest one is the Wireless Natural. I tried the 4000 for over three weeks.. and I simply could not type as fast!
They keys are slightly smaller, and off by a milimeter or two.
It was very disappointing!
As much as I wanted to like it, at the end of 30 days, back to Staples it went.
I wish I knew where to find a wrist rest for ergonomic keyboards, though. I did like the leathery feel!
i recommended the microsoft keyboards but it's very expensive read features of your keyboard and others

Usually keyboards don't last much.. I go through at least two keyboards a year... so. At a price tag of $50 or more... I would think twice before being the first addopter of a microsoft hardware... but if you have the money to spend what is hold ing you ? :o)

All that said... this keyboard seems very similar to the old microsoft ergonomic keyboard witch you can find some clone for less than $10.

other keyboards (for who has the money to spend... )
this is said to be the most ergonomic keyboard on the market... but it is not cheap!
