Put this hdd in another pc as a slave and try to recover your data

The chances are EXCELLENT that you've wrecked this drive.  Undoubtedly there is now physical damage caused by the impact after falling off the table.  If you really need to retrieve your data, DO NOT ATTEMPT to use any recovery software or even power the drive up.  You can very well make this worse.  If the head-assembly or other component in the enclosure that may contact the drive platter surface does contact the data recording surface you will literally scrape your data away.

GET PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE to recover your data.  There are many such providers.  Here in the USA, OnTrack is a leading recovery specialist.  Contact them for advice and a quote.

If you would really "LIKE" to have this data back but it's not important enough to pay for, then please try some of the recovery software.  In this case you don't have anything to loose.

if you want to try to recover with a software, do as said above : attach your disk to a working PC, and try any of these : (you can try the free trials, if they see your data, you pay for the full version)

Something to try...
Use a boot cd to see if the data is available on the drive, if so...transfer it to a new hard drive (or burn cd/dvd media).
