Yes it is air conditioned, and it stays in the mid to low 70s (average house temp)

I built a a home server, which is stored in my closet and would like some help on trying to make this Zippy PSU a little quieter! I mean its not super loud but its loud enough to where i can hear it in the hallway and when its real quiet in the house its annoying. The other option is to move it into the garage... but I think it will get to hot out there for it to do that.. It is in a 28U rack atm.
Thanks

Replacing the PSU and fans with quieter models and insulating the case or replacing with a low vibration case are all options...but the question is how much do you want to spend?

You can google "quiet OR silent computer OR PC" and get a wealth of tips and products to do the trick.
I would start by finding the loudest component (likely the PSU) and replace it.
One option may be to replace fans with quieter models. According to spec sheet, it has three 40mm fans and one 80mm fan. Not being familar with such PSUs, don't know how difficult replacement would be. It's a fairly easy task for a standard ATX PSU.
Here's a source for quiet fans:

Note: I've used Vantec fans and don't consider them all that quiet. May have been a bad batch, but they were a bit noisy (about on a par with cheap bulk fans). Panasonic (Panaflo) and Pabst are generally very quiet and long lasting. Coolermaster is good. No experience with the rest.

Is the closet air conditioned? What is the ambient temperature in the closet?
