HP_Apollo Boot-up error

hello all,

I would like to asked if anyone had seen the error below. this was seen  while booting up one of our system HP_Apollo Boot-up error.

You seem to have a failure between the SCSI controller and drive
Put the machine in service mode and see if you can get a file listing from the 'LD' command

If you're not familiar with Apollo stations and token networking there is an excellent troubleshoting guide on-line here:

HP/Apollo?? Dude, that's an ANTIQUE!!  I suppose you're running Domain/OS also...  Haven't touched one of these in 10 years.


Problem is here:

Error on drive at SCSI ID 6
Device at SCSI target ID 6 - FAILED

SCSI ID 6, my guess is your hard drive.  I'd be suspecting a drive failure.  Hopefully you have a backup...
