Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. I have a server that has some sockets that are unfamiliar to me. I know what most of them are now except one. It looks almost exactly like a floppy socket, but it has 2 notches (the ones that help you align the cable) instead of the 1 that a floppy cable has. There is already a floppy socket in it so I'm pretty sure its not a floppy socket. The unidentified socket has 2 rows of 17 pins (just like a floppy).
I wish I could take a picture of it, but my camera isn't operational right now, and I cant find one on the internet. If you know what this socket is, please let me know.
