Browse All TopicsThe CDRW drive in one of our PowerSpec 6250 PC's doesn't work.
In control panel, it shows up with a yellow exclamation point on it.
Troubleshooting says that the configuration information in the registry is incompatible or damaged (Code 19).
If I uninstall the device, then re-boot, the system detects it, but it won't work.
I called our Tech Support and they told me to reinstall the operating system. That's not a great
choice for this PC.
Does anyone know of a good registry cleaner, or another way to solve the problem?
If not, maybe just installing a new drive?
