The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. A computer that is rebooting for no particular reason.

I have a users pc that keeps rebooting different times during the day and on different days. The user received serveral different pc's and the same issue has occur.  Other users that use the pc's that were remove stated they have not have any know issue.  The PC is a Dell OptiPlex 320.  It is a 160gb hard drive, has 1 gb memory, and a Pentium 4 processor.  The software being used is Office 2003 Basic (Word, Excel and Outlook), SAP Front End, which is allowing them to connect to a Server for order placement) and Internet Explorer 6.0


Items that were already tried:
The pc was replaced several different times  works fine for a month then starts again.
The user profile was deleted and recreated
All Software was reloaded
The automatic Restart was deselected
Disable hibernation and Sleep Mode
Pc is power setting is set to be on all the time

I have about 200 of the exact pcs and this user is the only one have this issue.
